LeverEDGE Unilateral Converging Shoulder Press
The first member of our groundbreaking plate-loaded LeverEDGE line, the 6001 Shoulder Press is rigidly constructed yet breaks down just enough to be able to fit through a standard 36-inch wide door. The ergonomics on this piece were thoroughly researched, and we went through multiple prototypes before the biomechanics were perfected and the mechanism was simple enough to keep the pricing competitive. Built to last with beefy pillow block bearings that are smooth, tough and easy to maintain. The seat is constructed from 32-oz. top-stitched vinyl over high-quality, dense foam.
Other features include:
Weights at the Ready
There are eight chrome-plated Olympic bar-sized weight storage pegs that keep plates handy for rapid adjustments between sets, not to mention off the floor for a safer workout environment.
Unilateral Loading & Movement
Prevents the stronger arm from compensating for the weaker arm.
Simplicity was a primary design target to provide affordability and rigidity.
Spring-Loaded Lever Stops
Pulling a pop pin allows one person to adjust the starting position to one of six heights in one-inch increments. Also good for limiting the range of motion for those with pre-existing injuries.
Multi-grip closed-cell foam handles, carefully balanced converging lever motion, a multitude of pad adjustments and spring-assisted lever stops make sure the workout is effective and safe.
The frame was designed using 3D CAD software to minimize the use of fasteners, so assembly only requires four bolts. The rest is precision East Tennessee welding. This translates to easier setup, less maintenance and extra rigidity! Heavy-duty pillow block bearings are tough as nails, feature lubrication nipples for ease of maintenance and are smooth enough to never get in the way of a workout.
